"Aloha" When time is crucial!
You could say Hawaii holds the key to world peace... it is called the spirit of Aloha, which encompasses the charm, warmth and sincerity of the Hawaiian people.
Aloha is more than a word of greeting, goodbye or welcome.
Aloha means; mutual respect and affection and radiates warmth in caring without any obligation in return. Aloha is; the essence of relationships where everyone is important to each other's
person for a collective existence. Aloha means; hearing what is not said, seeing what cannot be seen and knowing the unknowable.
The Aloha spirit of Hawaii is alive and well in the work carried out by the Hawaiian Lifeguard Association with their daily efforts to ensure the safety of people on and around the waters of the islands.
Created to meet the needs of these Lifeguards, the Hawaiian Lifeguard Association watch collection was launched just as the organisation was celebrating its 100th anniversary.
For Lifeguards, time is a crucial component. Saving lives is the main mission of the Hawaiian Lifeguard Association. When a life is at stake, minutes and seconds count when responding
for emergency (in very often dangerous) situations. The elite Lifeguards of the HLA are a courageous group of people who routinely risk their lives when taking action to save someone in danger in the unforgiving waters of the Hawaiian Islands.
The HLA watches are made with:
316L stainless steel case and bezels.
120-click one-way rotating setting ring for diving.
A screwed back case and crown to ensure 200-metre water resistance.
Highly reliable Japanese quartz movements.
Highly scratch-resistant K1 glass crystals.
Comfortable straps made of real rubber with a pattern on the back for ventilation.
A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of each watch sale will be donated to the Hawaiian Lifeguard Association in support of the amazing work carried out daily in the 'spirit of Aloha' to help this outstanding organisation to ensure public safety on, in and around Hawaii's waters.
